Email Connectivity

As all our services are codeless, which means we don't install any codes on your machines, we can't see what emails are you sending or receiving, however, we can see if your email server is up and running and let you know if it's not working.
What we monitor
We constantly monitor your SSL and non SSL email server ports to make sure they are up and running. We can check SMTP and IMAP servers, typically on the 25, 143, 587, 993 ports. However, if your server uses other ports we can add them as well without any problem.
hard-disk
Insufficient Disk Space
Probably the most common reason why one won't be able to send or receive any emails. Once you reach your hosting maximum disk space allowance your emails won't work.
global-network
Port misconfiguration
If your website uses a specific port to connect to the email server to send notification emails and that port has changed either accidentally or by the hosting company.
settings
Systems Maintenance
In case of some maintenance work being done on the internet connection from the provider or even to the hosting server itself, your email server won't work any longer.
itpatrol_ssl_check
Expired SSL
If your website is designed to securely send emails through SMTP by connecting to the email server on port 465 and your SSL has expired, you can't send emails anymore.
